Industries / High-risk work
Hear the near miss before the incident.
Crews on remote sites, vessels and construction projects raise safety concerns from their phone, in their own language. Your HSE team reviews, replies, and records what was done.
Start with one site.
Open concerns by site
| Site | New | Top theme |
|---|---|---|
| Construction site | 6 | Exclusion zones |
| Mining camp | 4 | Fatigue |
| Vessel | 3 | Maintenance |
Second time this week the exclusion zone on level 3 was taken down so the crane could swing through faster.
Thanks for flagging this. The zone is back up, and we're reviewing the lift plan with the site lead tomorrow.
What never makes it into a report.
- Near misses nobody logged.
- Shortcuts taken to hit a deadline.
- Fatigue, rosters and swing length.
- Equipment, PPE and maintenance.
- How supervisors respond when people speak up.
What your HSE team sees.
Each concern arrives in English with the site, theme and risk marked. Serious ones open a case, and the follow-up, your reply and each action stay on record.
Open concerns
-
Weeks of 12-hour night shifts have drivers nodding off in haul trucks.
High risk -
The late bus back to camp leaves workers about five hours' sleep.
High risk -
Equipment is mostly fine, but harnesses in the right sizes are short.
Moderate risk -
Toolbox talks have become genuinely useful.
Low risk

- Warning signs
- Drivers nodding off in haul trucks after three weeks of nights.

- Check the night roster against the fatigue plan.
Twelve-hour night shifts for three weeks straight. People are nodding off in the haul trucks.
How many weeks have you been on nights?
Three weeks straight. The roster said two.
Thank you. Nobody does more than two weeks of nights from this swing, and supervisors will check fatigue at each pre-start.
Actions
- Night blocks capped at two weeks
- Fatigue checks at every pre-start

Is Tellhaven right for you?
Built for organisations whose people work away from head office.
A good fit if
- Your people work across sites, shifts or suppliers.
- They speak more than one language.
- You can name reviewers who will reply, ideally within two working days.
- You want a record of what was done about each concern.
Not the right fit if
- You need an emergency line. Nobody at Tellhaven monitors conversations.
- You need a statutory whistleblower channel. We don't currently offer it as one.
- People must not be identifiable. We don't ask for names, but their words may identify them.
- Nobody will reply. People who hear nothing stop speaking up.
One price per site.
A site is one physical operating location, not each QR code, department or shift.

Questions
Something else? Email us and we'll set up a walkthrough.
Does it replace our incident reporting system?
No. It catches what people won't put in a formal report. Copy anything serious into your existing system.
What about patchy coverage?
It needs a connection to send. Put codes where people have Wi-Fi, such as camps, crib rooms and accommodation.
Can people speak instead of typing?
Yes. Once an admin turns voice on in Settings, people tap the microphone and talk to Haven, the AI assistant, in their own language. Tellhaven keeps the transcript, not the recording. Our voice provider may keep flagged audio for up to 90 days for abuse monitoring, but does not use it to train models.
What happens with something urgent?
Tellhaven isn't an emergency service, and nobody at Tellhaven monitors conversations. Before rollout, agree who acts on a serious case and how quickly, and keep your usual emergency and incident procedures. Each poster tells people to call emergency services if someone is in danger.
Is it anonymous?
We don't ask for names, and we don't call it anonymous. Conversations are stored and linked to a random key in your browser. Reviewers can read what you share, which may identify you.
